About the Role:
This is a challenging opportunity to work on a high-profile project that has the potential to transform the digital landscape in Pakistan. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Implementing Unit (PIU) to ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on digital ID laws, data protection, and intellectual property laws.
- Assist in framing and amending rules and regulations for international projects.
- Conduct thorough research and interpretation of laws, rules, and statutes.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master of Laws (LLM), preferably in commercial, corporate, electronic data laws from a recognized university. Foreign degrees require HEC equivalence. You should also have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a legal officer/advisor for international projects, preferably World Bank funded.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be selected through an Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants as per procurement regulations. Shortlisting criteria include relevant qualifications and experience.
