Job Summary:

The role of the Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring high equipment availability and reliability with safety and optimum cost.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance to comply with safety regulations, minimizing downtime.
  • Recommend overhaul of equipment to ensure no disruption to operations, providing best rectification proposals.
  • Provide supervision to supervisor/Maintenance Technician teams.
  • Troubleshoot, rectify, and reactivate equipment promptly to avoid delays and downtime during breakdown maintenance.
  • Evaluate and enforce compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures.
  • Enforce safety policies, practices, and good housekeeping.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle/Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic required.
  • Preferably with relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic & Pneumatic.
  • Must possess a minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above.
