Job Title: Director of Educational Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Educational Development. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

This role will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and evaluating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for faculty members. Additionally, you will assist in implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) by collaborating with various stakeholders on curriculum design, renewal, and program evaluation projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong qualifications, including a PhD or MPhil in Education, Educational Planning and Management, or Medical Education/MHPE. A minimum of 3 years of teaching and administrative experience, as well as a proven track record of research publications, is also required.

You will be expected to possess exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, execute, and evaluate CPD and CME programs for faculty members
  • Assist in implementing OBE by collaborating with stakeholders on curriculum design, renewal, and program evaluation projects
  • Develop and implement Faculty Development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of faculty members
  • Plan, organize, and execute conferences, seminars, workshops, and other events
  • Market these events to ensure their success

Requirements:

  • PhD or MPhil in Education, Educational Planning and Management, or Medical Education/MHPE
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching and administrative experience
  • Proven track record of research publications
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
