Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in providing tax services, combining strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.
  • Manage clients' compliance and reporting needs, establishing and maintaining valued internal and external relationships.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of client engagements, monitor progress, and deliverables, implement standardized processes, identify risks, escalate issues, and drive performance-improvement solutions.
  • Assist the team in generating new business opportunities and building client networks for our global client base.
  • Create, lead, and motivate high-performing teams, fostering a positive learning culture, and coaching junior team members.
  • Manage engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders.
  • Ensure adherence to our Tax Quality guidelines.

Requirements for Success:

You must be an excellent communicator and detail-oriented professional with a strong track record of management experience who is comfortable working across borders with a wide network of people and large amounts of data.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or any related essential fields.
  • MBA, Masters, or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification.
  • A very strong knowledge with over 6 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations, corporate tax, and compliance, financial tax reporting, ideally within a large professional services company.
  • A strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing, ideally within a large professional services company.
  • A strong track record of managerial, organizational, and project management experience.
