Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Maintenance Support Expert to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Strategy Development: Facilitate the creation of key maintenance objectives and KPIs that support business strategies and work plans for offshore maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability expectations.
  • Program Execution: Ensure flawless execution of maintenance support activities/programs to achieve equipment availability and reliability, maximising production capacity.
  • Financial Management: Evaluate and analyse financial and technical reports from stakeholders, authorizing transactions in accordance with established protocols.

Critical Contracting: Assess and establish critical contracts for major overhauling and trouble-shooting involved with critical machinery, aiming to align agreements with operational goals and requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with department management to establish departmental maintenance procedures and internal audit requirements, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
  • Work Scoping: Coordinate and steward work scoping and work packs development processes, ensuring effective and efficient execution to support operational readiness.
  • Interface Planning: Plan interfaces between onshore support and offshore maintenance to ensure effective collaboration and follow-up of vendors/third parties.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency breakdown requirements, responding effectively and efficiently to minimise safety or financial impact on offshore assets.
  • Contractor Direction: Direct contractors and third-party services in routine and non-routine emergency shutdown maintenance, ensuring expectations are managed in alignment with operations and maintenance requirements.

Leadership and Collaboration: Foster leadership and interface with offshore sections, including Wellhead & Pipeline Operations, Marine & Logistics, Operations & Maintenance, and onshore Engineering & Technical support departments, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Technical Expertise: 10 years of experience in an engineering or operational and maintenance environment, with 5 years in a management or supervisory position, in diversified oil and gas experience.
  • Computer Literacy: Good working knowledge of key maintenance disciplines and computer systems, including SAP/Meridium.
  • Cultural Competence: Exposure to multi-cultural and diverse environments.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
