Job Overview

The Production Oversight Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all production operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This includes ensuring that personnel, equipment, materials, and facilities adhere to established procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To implement sound in-process controls and monitor their effectiveness in maintaining compliance with GMP.
  • To maintain accurate documentation of work performed and ensure the completion of necessary records, including batch manufacturing records, area control records, equipment records, and environment control records.

The role involves close collaboration with various departments to achieve effective implementation of systems and modules. This includes coordination with Product Development, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless production processes.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Improving productivity and yield rates.
  • Reducing losses, downtime, and idle time.
  • Optimizing resource utilization.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, or engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in a relevant quality management system (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Experience with quality control software and tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for GMP.
