Job Title: Chemical Industry Leader

About the Role:

The Chemical Industry Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales operations for a full range of chemical products across the country. This role requires a seasoned professional to design and implement strategic sales plans, lead a national sales team, and engage with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies for all product lines.

  • Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding market presence.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess sales performance and team efficiency.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

This involves developing and implementing national sales strategies for all product lines, driving sales growth through identifying new opportunities, and establishing and monitoring KPIs to assess sales performance and team efficiency.

Team Building & Leadership:

This includes building and managing a high-performing national sales team, recruiting, training, and retaining top sales talent, providing leadership, coaching, and performance feedback, and conducting regular reviews and setting clear objectives.

Market Analysis & Customer Insights:

This involves tracking market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, ensuring the sales team is well-versed in industry standards and product offerings, maintaining strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and end-users, and staying ahead of market trends.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

This includes preparing sales forecasts and budgets aligned with business goals, delivering regular reports on sales performance and potential challenges, identifying risks to growth and proposing corrective actions, and leveraging customer feedback to drive sales growth.

Client Relationship Management:

This involves cultivating long-term relationships with strategic clients and partners, attending industry events and networking functions to stay ahead of market trends, collaborating with marketing and product teams to leverage customer feedback, and promoting the safe handling of chemical products and educating clients accordingly.

Product Knowledge & Promotion:

This includes maintaining deep understanding of company products, applications, and benefits, supporting product development by identifying market demands, contributing to the creation of marketing materials and promotional strategies, and staying up-to-date with industry developments and trends.
