Mechanical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products, as well as collaborating with the design team to meet project specifications.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and practices, with excellent skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and CATIA. You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include assisting in 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing tasks, supporting senior engineers in CAD operations and product design, collaborating with the design team to meet project specifications, performing quality control checks on assigned tasks, preparing and updating design documentation, participating in reverse engineering and design optimization tasks, providing regular progress updates to senior team members, and continuously improving your SolidWorks and CAD skills through guidance and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing tasks.
  • Support senior engineers in CAD operations and product design.
  • Collaborate with the design team to meet project specifications.
  • Perform quality control checks on assigned tasks.
  • Prepare and update design documentation.
  • Participate in reverse engineering and design optimization tasks.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior team members.
  • Continuously improve SolidWorks and CAD skills through guidance and training.
