Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, and bulldozers, to lift, move, and place materials and loads.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and report any issues or defects for timely repair.
  • Assess loads to determine weight, balance, and proper lifting techniques to ensure safe operation.
  • Maneuver heavy equipment in various directions to accurately position loads.
Requirements:
  • Valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment, with specific experience in handling 15-ton capacity cranes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional vocational training or certification in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator, with proficiency in operating large-capacity equipment in construction or industrial settings.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator in construction, manufacturing, or related industries, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment operation techniques, load capacities, and safety protocols.
  • Physical fitness and dexterity to operate controls and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness to safely maneuver loads in confined spaces or challenging terrain.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.
