About The Role

User-Centric Design and Development at Beam AI

As a Frontend Engineer at Beam AI, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-centric interfaces for our Beam AI platform. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications that deliver seamless user experiences across various devices and browsers.

  • Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing interactive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js while ensuring code is maintainable, scalable, and optimized for performance
  • Implementing responsive design principles to deliver user-friendly interfaces
  • Working closely with UI/UX designers to seamlessly integrate design concepts into functional, visually appealing interfaces
  • Developing reusable and scalable UI components using Styled Components or similar libraries
  • Maintaining and organizing our GitHub repositories, ensuring version control and best practices
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving frontend issues to enhance application stability and user experience
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our development workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or in a similar role, specializing in crafting responsive and visually appealing web interfaces
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js, with a track record of building modern, scalable applications
  • Strong command of HTML and CSS, including responsive design principles and best practices
  • Experience with state management tools, such as React Query and Redux Toolkit
  • Familiarity with UI libraries (e.g., Material-UI) and modern styling approaches like styled-components
  • Proficiency with version control tools, particularly Git and GitHub
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create intuitive user experiences
