Sr Web Development Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr Web Development Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development using .NET and experience in leading teams.

  • Analyze customer requirements to design and develop applications that meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers to clarify any queries or concerns related to SRS or customer requirements.
  • Explore, select, and utilize best practices and components/APIs to design and develop systems.
  • Share information and obtain realistic time estimates from the team for assigned tasks (project/support-related).
  • Share time estimates of resources with PMO.
  • Regularly review code submitted by reporting resources.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders for timely issue reporting or clarification requests.
  • Perform sanity/smoke testing before submitting tasks for QA testing.
  • Timely resolve issues reported in QA feedback.
  • Takes ownership of assigned resources and development projects from inception to delivery.
  • Lead a team, guiding, teaching, and instructing team members to ensure client needs are met.
  • Write efficient, reusable software code to optimize available resources and meet deadlines.
  • Analyze instrumentation data to understand and resolve issues.
  • Provide support in evaluating, testing, and implementing new tools and technologies.
  • Ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Submit time sheets on time and update project server status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum BSE/BCS or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in web application development using .NET.
  • Knowledge of HTML 5 is an asset.
  • Leadership and team building skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Deliver under tight and short deadlines.
