Job Summary

\

You will be part of our core engineering team, helping to build and maintain our backend service.

\

As a key member of the team, you will work alongside other engineers to implement features and solve challenging problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

\

Key Responsibilities

\
  • \
  • Adopting and continuously improving engineering best practices to ensure a robust and maintainable codebase for our backend service.\
  • Identifying and proactively addressing engineering challenges for the product, driving complex technical decisions together with colleagues.\
  • Having a sense of ownership in managing and extending our backend services, using technical expertise to contribute to building backend architecture and infrastructure at scale.\
  • Partnering with product, designers, and analytics teams to drive requirements that take into account all parties' needs.\
  • Supporting other members of the team in finding pragmatic solutions that can be implemented in a reasonable amount of time.\

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • \
  • Familiarity with technologies used in the company;
    • \
    • Elixir and Phoenix\
    • Postgres\
    • Elasticsearch\

  • Experience designing and building APIs with maintainability, scalability, and reliability in mind.\
  • Competency in working with external APIs and other data sources for integration work.\
  • Proficiency in English and technical communication.\
  • Demonstrated ability to own and ship a big project end-to-end involving complex decisions based on business and technological impact.\
