Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unreal Engine Developer to join our team at Apex Logics and contribute to the development of high-quality games using Unreal Engine.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement game mechanics, optimize performance, and collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to bring immersive gaming experiences to life.
  • Develop and implement gameplay mechanics using Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5), write clean, efficient, and maintainable C++ and Blueprint code.
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate assets and features, debug and fix gameplay bugs to ensure high-quality game releases.
  • Implement multiplayer and networking features if required (using Unreal's replication system).
  • Stay updated with the latest Unreal Engine advancements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Technical Requirements:
  • Proven experience developing games in Unreal Engine 4 or 5, strong proficiency in C++ programming and Unreal Blueprints.
  • Experience with game physics, AI, animation, UI/UX, and rendering, knowledge of multiplayer networking and replication in Unreal (if applicable).
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques, experience working with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.).
  • Skillset:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment, VR/AR development experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Metasounds, Chaos physics, and Niagara VFX, knowledge of mobile and console development in Unreal.
