About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to join our team as a Business Tax Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, identifying areas of improvement in client tax strategies, and developing customized solutions to optimize client tax positions.

As a Business Tax Compliance Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored tax solutions to meet those needs. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of tax services, including tax planning, compliance, and controversy resolution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and responding to tax audits;
  2. Conducting tax research and analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement in client tax strategies;
  3. Developing and implementing customized tax solutions to optimize client tax positions;
  4. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of tax services;
  5. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in corporate taxation, preferably with experience working in a large professional services firm or similar environment. You will also need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, law, or taxation, and preferably an MBA, Master's, LLM, or other advanced degree in a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification will be highly valued.
