As a crucial member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all suppliers meet our global standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of raw materials and packaging suppliers assigned by the business, including requests from other business units as needed.
  • Implement Mars Global QFS standards, such as Material Quality Management (MQM) and Packaging Quality Management (PQM), aligned with local/regional/global SQA strategies.
  • Contribute to the drafting and formulation of Mars Global Q&FS Standards when required.
  • Complete supplier risk assessments of material-supplier combinations.
  • Establish supplier controls to hazards in accordance with MRA/PRA findings and be an active member of the MRA/PRA team.
  • Perform risk-based supplier audits as per calendar and drive S-CAPA with suppliers.
  • Notify key stakeholders immediately in case of critical non-conformities that may impact Mars products or consumers.
  • Ensure supplier materials conform to Mars specifications and verify supplier capability to manufacture to specification.
  • Regularly update supplier status to the business.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement plans to upgrade supplier status.
  • Support commercial sourcing strategies and prime activity programs.
  • Analyze and resolve supplier-related problems, determine root cause, and implement corrective/preventive actions with suppliers.
  • Provide vital support to regional and global commercial teams executing business-critical Supplier Quality Assurance processes.
  • Act as category SME to support commercial teams and suppliers to ensure consistent rollout within the region.
  • Collaborate with the SQA community across Mars segments to identify best practices and improve processes.
  • Support commercial preliminary supplier assessments and champion QMP/HACCP/FMOS/Site review meetings.
