Position Overview: We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney who is deeply passionate about family law and eager to make valuable contributions to our team. This unique position offers a balanced life approach with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court hearings and provide legal counsel in family law.
  • Maintain well-organized files to ensure timely access to updates.
  • Provide conflict resolution guidance, analyze legal matters, and engage in negotiations for clients specializing in family law.
  • Create various legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Facilitate efficient case management by effectively communicating with clients and paralegals.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
Requirements
  • To be considered for this position, a minimum of 2-3 years of experience handling family law cases specifically in Texas is required and non-negotiable.
  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and successful bar exam passage are mandatory qualifications.
  • A valid Texas Driver's License and automobile insurance are essential.
  • Accurate billable hour tracking is a crucial skill for this role.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Problem-solving skills and effective communication are vital attributes required for success in this role.
