Job Title: Eye Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced eye specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with ophthalmic conditions, working under the supervision of senior consultants.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, to diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries under the supervision of senior consultants, developing technical skills through hands-on experience.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), visual field tests, and other imaging studies to inform treatment plans.
• Provide emergency ophthalmic care, including trauma management and acute vision loss, ensuring prompt and effective intervention.
• Develop and implement patient management plans, including follow-up care, to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate, while maintaining accurate and thorough medical records for all patients.

• Hold a degree in Ophthalmology (FCPS/DOMS/MCPS) from a recognized institution.
• Possess 1-2 years of relevant surgical experience, with a strong foundation in ophthalmic care.
• Be registered with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is essential for efficient documentation and data management.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and colleagues.
