Brand Management Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager to join our Marketing team, based in Athens, Greece.

This role will involve developing and implementing the marketing strategy and plan for assigned consumer brand/product categories, working closely with the responsible Marketing Manager.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and propose the Marketing Strategy & Plan for assigned Brands/Propositions, based on consumer occasions and insights. This includes participating in the development of Brand Positioning and Brand Architecture to drive penetration and ensure consistency across all marketing and brand activities.
  • Strategic Execution: Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Marketing Strategy and Budget Plan for assigned Brands/Propositions. Analyze and monitor Marketing A&P Budget spending per Brand/Proposition to secure agreed objectives/targets. Align with CDSM teams to ensure realization of targets and agree corrective actions if needed.
  • Brand Communication: Draft communication briefs and work closely with creative agencies to develop effective marketing campaigns. Interface with CDSM to ensure alignment and consistent deployment of creative brand strategy. Integrate with Media Marketing manager to create, implement and monitor performance of media & digital plans.
  • Business Development: Analyze and monitor market development trends, identifying business risks or opportunities for assigned Brands/Propositions. Propose improvements on existing Brand/Product portfolios and new product and packaging launches, in alignment with the Marketing Manager. Manage and drive progress of relevant Local Projects (new product development, new packaging, factory reallocations, product outsourcing etc.) or actively participate in International Projects. Participate in IPM meetings and inform all stakeholders.
  • Brand/Proposition Performance: Monitor and control all relevant performance KPIs (profitability, volume sales, market share, penetration, awareness, price development, distribution, SOV etc.). Propose and implement required actions to drive performance. Own and manage the Brand/Proposition forecasting process, in close collaboration with sales and supply chain teams and recommend adjustments to plans to meet targets.

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans for assigned consumer brands/product categories. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities.

Key qualifications:

  • Senior Brand Manager experience in a similar industry and market context.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and identify key insights.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
