Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Islamabad team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and calculations for industrial and oil & gas infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project RFQs and ensure project scope is executed in line with customer requirements and sale commitments.
  • Lead project design and execution activities and assign tasks to available team members.
  • Review engineering documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with technical offers and project specifications.
  • Work with the project planning team for development of detailed schedules and progress trackers for different project phases.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for engineering and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with site execution teams for safe and timely project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 4-6 years' experience in oil & gas, industrial, and/or petrochemical engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC, ATEX, NEC).
  • Experience working with electrical design software like ETAP and Dialux.
  • Ability to estimate project engineering efforts and create budgets.
  • Experience designing low-voltage switchgear, medium-voltage switchgear, AC and DC UPS systems, transformer systems, power management systems, VFD, and soft starters.
  • Knowledge of installation and commissioning activities for these systems is an advantage.
  • Understanding of containerized substation and E-house systems is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with HVAC system design principles.
