Senior Software Engineer for Android

A highly skilled professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications.

This associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions and ensure seamless user experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing business requirements and technical specifications informs software development decisions.
  • Designing and implementing new features for Android applications using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code maintains application performance and quality.
  • Collaborating with the design team crafts intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting application issues through thorough analysis and debugging techniques.
  • Conducting regular code reviews ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Android technology and mobile app design.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to brainstorming sessions drives innovation and growth.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team provides guidance on software development best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Android application development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages with experience in Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with SQLite and RoomDB as well as Android application architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, MVI).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data formats with knowledge of Git and version control systems.
  • Ability to optimize application performance and manage memory effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team with a passion for learning and staying current with the latest technologies in mobile development.
