Sales Development Professional
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who can drive sales growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Electronic Security Surveillance Sector, excellent communication skills, and be able to use initiative and work independently. They will be responsible for promoting products to customers, managing special projects, and establishing key relationships with corporate clients and agencies.
Key Responsibilities:- To proactively develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expansion of the client base
- To ensure that all sales activities are aligned with corporate objectives and key performance indicators
- To manage special projects under the direction of the VP Managed Services
- To obtain 20 to 30 sales appointments per week out of house
- To be aware of key trends in the market and take appropriate action
- To have extensive knowledge of competitor activity and what business is booking into the area
- To organize corporate sales promotional initiatives
- To encourage full usage of all facilities to maximize sales
- To establish key relationships with corporate clients and agencies to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenue
- To ensure personal presentation is of the highest standards at all times to project a professional image to clients
- To ensure that all communications with customers are handled within the required time frame
- To be present to meet and greet customers as appropriate
- To entertain prospective clients where appropriate
- To liaise with the rest of the team on a day-to-day basis to obtain all new sales leads
- To follow the corporate strategies set by the VP Managed Services
- To be aware of company policies which affect the sales department
- To ensure that the Finance department is given accurate information for billing if required
- To be proactive in putting forward suggested actions to achieve the department's targets
- To ensure that statistical data is produced and analyzed
- To demonstrate a can-do attitude at all times
- To assist in other departments during emergencies or as deemed necessary by the VP Managed Services
- To carry out other duties/tasks outside normal routines but within the overall scope of the job
