Senior Solution Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Consultant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and optimizing control system solutions tailored to customer requirements.

You will work on high-impact projects across various industries, shaping automation outcomes that prioritize performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.

  • Review RFQs and ensure design solutions align with customer requirements.
  • Estimate and create proposals for brown field jobs.
  • Perform effort estimation for engineering, construction, and testing works, and develop project execution plans.
  • Identify risks associated with technical and commercial proposals, and plan their mitigation.
  • Provide sales support for compliance of key proposals against received RFQs.
  • Coordinate proposals and follow-ups with the sales team.
  • Support the team in obtaining quotes from new and existing vendors.
  • Develop standard procedures and have good writing skills to produce high-level execution philosophies, project plans, design procedures, and commercial terms & conditions.
  • Design optimal control system architectures with in-depth knowledge of network protocols.
  • Ensure technical/commercial compliance of proposals and take necessary exceptions.
  • Think outside the box and provide leadership based on field experience in solutions review and alternate efficient designs resulting in measurable optimization.
  • Ensure quality of product solutions as defined.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master Degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of work experience in engineering or technical sales.
  • Deep knowledge of PLC/DCS-based control systems (Rockwell/Siemens/Honeywell/ABB/Schneider) and SCADA systems.
  • Business development skills and ability to negotiate prices/discount schedules with vendors.
  • Knowledge/experience of field instrumentation selections and designing cost-optimized solutions.
  • Site work and estimation of construction scope for installation of control system solutions an advantage.
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
