Pharmaceutical QA Manager Role

Ensure the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products through effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of quality control systems.

  1. Maintain a satisfactory environment between production, warehouse, maintenance, and marketing according to GMP and GLP.
  2. Manage technical activities in Q.C. and authorize release or rejection of Raw Material, Packaging Material, In-process Product, and finished product.
  3. Review and monitor objectives regularly and revise whenever needed.
  4. Evaluate the Laboratory to ensure it can perform tests as per specifications and standards.
  5. Responsible for purchases made in the laboratory, raising requisitions with specifications of reagents, equipment, glassware, chemicals, and microbiological articles.
  6. Ensure bulk samples of chemicals and glassware are stored by material management under agreed conditions.
  7. Evaluate and approve suppliers and vendors.
  8. Assign complaints to the Laboratory staff for investigation of root causes and proposed corrective actions.
  9. Authorize operational work of Equipment performance and calibration.
  10. Prepare job descriptions for each laboratory member.
  11. Ensure facilities required to perform tests in standard manners like energy resources, weighing, and environmental conditions are available.
  12. Review all environmental monitoring records on a monthly basis.
  13. Ensure appropriate SOPs are available for all tests performed under the scope of accreditation.
  14. Ensure open hand instruments for all equipment are available in the laboratory and trained personnel use them.
  15. Responsible for ensuring correct data is transferred from raw data to final reports.
  16. Ensure reference materials are certified against traceable certificates and their standards are available if internal standards are used.
Job Requirements

8 to 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company.
