Software Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer - DevOps to spearhead the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex projects, design architecture, and review solutions alongside peers.
  • Guide and mentor junior software engineers on design best practices and code quality.
  • Troubleshoot intricate engineering problems and facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Develop and uphold CI/CD principles in daily engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Hands-on expertise using GitLab and GitHub, including their CI/CD capabilities.
  • Administer, manage, and optimize Git repositories and workflows.
  • Design and implement scripts for GitHub workflows, actions, jobs, and steps.
  • Integrate GitHub with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions or other tools.
  • Implement security best practices within GitHub, including access control, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.
  • In-depth understanding of GitLab administration, configuration, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in scripting languages like Python, Bash, YAML, and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Ecosystem.
  • Master knowledge of Gradle, including build configuration, tasks, plugins, dependency management, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
  • Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
