Our organization is actively expanding and seeks a skilled Junior Accountant to assist the Financial Manager in managing financial operations.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce from an accredited university. The applicant should have at least 0-1 years of experience in finance-related roles and excellent knowledge of accounting principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial Manager in implementing company financial policies, conducting performance evaluations of administrative staff, maintaining books of accounts, and other related tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Financial Manager in formulating and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Conducting performance appraisals and probation completion sessions for administrative personnel.
  • Managing resources, supervising departmental functions, and preparing reports based on provided data.
  • Preparing cash books, bank books, salaries, and monthly/yearly closings.
  • Reviewing expenses, payroll records, and other assigned tasks.
  • Communicating with bank officials and overseeing daily office administrative activities.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Business degree in finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks/bookkeeping and double-entry accounting.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
