As a School Principal, you will play a crucial role in promoting high-quality teaching and learning. You will be responsible for monitoring school progress, focusing on improvement, and fostering a culture of mutual respect within the school community.
Key Responsibilities- Promote academic excellence by recruiting, developing, and empowering teachers.
- Implement effective teacher recruitment processes to ensure a strong teaching team.
- Develop and implement a school improvement plan based on need analysis to drive progress.
- Monitor classroom quality through lesson planners and observations to maintain high standards.
- Maintain optimal student enrollment through effective strategies and community outreach.
- Manage teacher outreach, maintain a CV bank, and coordinate with HR teams for staff hiring and performance management.
- Ensure school discipline, encourage positive character building, and manage staff leaves and attendance.
- Supervise the admin assistant in accounts and other matters, manage school accounts accurately, and coordinate utility services.
Demonstrated leadership skills, perseverance, motivation, communication skills, and passion to serve as a positive change agent are essential for this role.
Education and ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of teaching experience and at least 6 months of administration experience are required for secondary school principals.
