Senior PHP Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in developing and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.

The successful candidate will play a key role in architecting and implementing high-performance backend solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the best coding practices.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.

  • Design and implement scalable and secure backend solutions.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

  • Develop and manage APIs (RESTful & GraphQL) for seamless data exchange.

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

  • Manage databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, ensuring efficiency and security.

  • Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in WordPress, Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
  • Proficiency in working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js, or React is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS or DigitalOcean is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of WebSocket and real-time application development.
