The Contract Management Specialist role is a vital position within an organization, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth execution of contractual agreements. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts to guarantee compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and procurement contracts.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that contracts comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including PECA and international best practices.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Provide legal support and guidance to various internal departments regarding contract terms and risk management. Liaise with internal/external stakeholders, including vendors, to resolve contract-related disputes, clauses negotiation or other issues.
  • Contract Development and Maintenance: Assist in developing and maintaining standard contract templates and procedures.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research on contract law and relevant legal developments.
  • Contract Renewals and Terminations: Ensure timely contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as required.

For this role, we are seeking an individual with strong negotiation and communication skills, who can interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A solid understanding of Pakistani laws and international best practices in contract management is essential. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple contracts and deadlines are also required.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Law (LL.B) is mandatory; LL.M or any other postgraduate legal qualification is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in contract law, commercial transactions or corporate legal roles is necessary.
  • Experience within the telecom/IT sector is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of Pakistani laws and international best practices in contract management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
