Project Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our team in a Finance Manager role. This key position focuses on project financial reporting and feasibility analysis, with a strong emphasis on construction-related initiatives.

This role is instrumental in providing financial insights that support decision-making, optimize project outcomes, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze project financial reports, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis for construction and capital projects.
  • Develop comprehensive feasibility studies and business cases to evaluate the financial viability of proposed construction and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to provide financial oversight throughout project lifecycles.
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, schedules, and risks, ensuring timely escalation of financial concerns.
  • Support capital expenditure planning and ensure alignment with financial controls and internal approval processes.
  • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices in financial project reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA or CFA qualification, with at least 7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in project finance or construction accounting.
  • Proven experience in feasibility analysis and capital project reporting.
  • Proficient in financial modeling tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and software (e.g., SAP S4 Hana).
