The role of a pharmacist in an integrated medical services setting requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail. In this capacity, you will be responsible for dispensing drugs in various pharmacy settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory pharmacies.

Key responsibilities include reviewing physician orders for accurate therapeutic dose, monitoring lab reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug-drug interaction, duplication of same class etc, and ensuring timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Doctorate / Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university, as well as traineeship experience in Retail Pharmacy or medium / large hospital, preferably with one year experience in the similar capacity.

Requirements

Familiarity with hospital pharmacy functioning is essential, along with sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceuticals. You should also be familiar with locally available drugs, pharmaceuticals, and their indications, as well as have the ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals.

In addition, willingness to work in shift duties is necessary, allowing you to adapt to changing circumstances and provide exceptional care to patients.
