We are a leading retailer seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our team in achieving sales and efficiency goals.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in shopping malls, with expertise in overall retailing, including groceries, fast food, cosmetics, and more.

  • Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
  • Oversee stock levels and make informed decisions about stock control
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits
  • Interpret trends to facilitate planning and decision-making
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures and drive data analysis and forward planning
  • Handle staffing issues, including interviewing, appraisals, performance reviews, training, and development
  • Maintain high standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety
  • Address health and safety, legal, and security concerns
  • Respond to customer complaints and feedback
  • Promote the organization through local outreach and partnerships
  • Organize special promotions, displays, and events
  • Chair meetings and keep colleagues informed on business performance and new initiatives
  • Tour the sales floor regularly to identify and resolve urgent issues
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer initiatives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail, preferably in shopping malls
  • Expertise in overall retailing, including groceries, fast food, cosmetics, and more

  • Proven track record of sales growth and efficiency improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with information technology and data analysis tools
