Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Developer to oversee our WordPress projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom theme/plugin development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team of developers.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of WordPress developers and designers
  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely delivery
  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Maintain code quality through regular code reviews and best practices
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across various WordPress environments
  • Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Conduct training and mentoring sessions to upskill team members
  • Ensure all projects meet high standards and are delivered on time
  • Monitor and report on project progress and team performance
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a WordPress Developer
  • Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and REST API
  • Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery), WooCommerce, and ACF
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and deployment processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
