Job Title: Senior Release Automation Specialist

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure delivery pipelines. Your expertise in DevOps will play a crucial role in streamlining software delivery, improving system observability, and optimizing deployment strategies to accelerate product delivery with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to perform build/deploy activities for solution releases into various environments.
  • Design and implement automated deployment processes for dev, test, qa environments using AWS cloud services.
  • Manage source control and version control using GitLab, including DevOps practices.
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using pipeline setup/deployment in AWS cloud.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in DevOps pipelines with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including DynamoDB, Cognito Pools, S3 bucket, Pinpoint, OpenSearch, RDS DB, VPC, and Secret Managers.
  • Familiarity with Python programming language is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (Helm, Linkerd, etc.) and Terraform is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and GitLab.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Native Experience, Networking Domain Expertise, and Cloud Provisioning and Management is a plus.
Soft Skills:
  • A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field with 8+ years of experience.
