Lead Go Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Go engineer to lead our team in developing high-performance applications.

This role requires a deep understanding of Go, its standard library, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Go.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Develop RESTful APIs with a solid understanding of HTTP protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and design patterns.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor junior developers and foster continuous learning and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Go and related technologies.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years focused on Go.
  • Strong understanding of Go's concurrency model and multithreading experience.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and related services for scalable infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
