We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to develop and optimize machine learning pipelines, perform data analysis, and build scalable data preparation modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough data analysis to uncover insights and patterns in datasets, applying statistical techniques and traditional machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, etc.).
  2. Design and optimize large-scale data preparation and feature engineering pipelines, utilizing Spark, PySpark, and Spark Delta for efficient processing of massive datasets.
  3. Implement and refine machine learning models for production use cases, collaborating with data engineers and scientists to integrate models into business applications.
  4. Tune model performance using relevant evaluation metrics and hyperparameter optimization, evaluating the efficiency of data processing and storage using distributed computing frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or big data processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning development, including hands-on experience with Spark, PySpark, and Spark Delta.
  • Experience in Python scientific computing ecosystem (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, XGBoost, LightGBM, etc).
  • Proficiency in traditional machine learning techniques and statistical analysis, familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with cloud-based machine learning platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI).
  • Exposure to MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
