Transportation Specialist

Job Title: Transportation Professional

• Drive different types of vehicles, preferably cars, jeeps, or vans.
• Maintain the official vehicle in good condition by performing timely repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and tidy both internally and externally.
• Manage vehicle records, fueling, and other controls.
• Generate a vehicle assessment report and submit it to the supervisor.
• Be available when assigned for duty.
• Inform the supervisor about repair and maintenance work in a timely manner if required.
• Coordinate with staff during assigned duties.
• Be ready to respond to emergencies at short notice.
• Will to work beyond regular hours or on holidays as needed.
• Assist staff in loading and unloading official materials.
• Check traffic updates before commencing a journey.
• Comply with safety and security policies.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• 5-7 years of experience working with INGOs or similar organizations.
• Valid driving license (LTV) for cars or jeeps.
• Preference for local residents of the duty station.
• Able to work effectively with female colleagues and staff.
• Minimum middle school education, but matric preferred.
