We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Accounts to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounts department, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the accounts department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  2. Prepare and maintain company accounts, including balance sheets and income statements
  3. Analyze accounting records and financial statements to identify areas for improvement
  4. Establish and maintain tables of accounts (ledgers) and perform account reconciliations
  5. Compute and calculate outstanding taxes, and prepare tax returns and other tax requirements
  6. Develop and analyze projected budgets, and present findings to management
  7. Administer monthly payroll, and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
  8. Prepare financial reports for the CEO review, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  9. Verify bank reconciliations, and investigate any discrepancies
  10. Maintain suppliers and customers accounts, and perform account reconciliations

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A strong command of English is essential, as well as experience working in a UK-based company.
