Medical Biller

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with experience in medical billing?

We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team.

This full-time position is responsible for electronically billing all third-party patient claims, including processing rejections, posting insurance payments, and performing monthly patient statement billing and itemized billings as requested.

• Data entry of payments received from third-party payers should be timely and accurate.
• All rejected and denied claims submitted to third-party payers must be processed promptly.
• Able to work with electronic claims and billing software applications.
• Daily cash receipts from insurance carriers should be reconciled with the database and reported to the supervisor at the end of the workday.
• Patient information/details in the Health Center database must be entered completely and accurately.

• At least three years of experience in medical billing.
• Understanding of various billing software applications.
• Preferred one year of previous healthcare-related billing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing procedures and relevant rules and regulations.
