Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and functional inconsistencies.
  • Closely collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand features, user flows, and testing requirements.
  • Effectively communicate testing progress, results, risks, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in QA/testing within a software development environment.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficient in databases (SQL and MongoDB), with the ability to write and execute queries.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
