About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our legal affairs program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance our mission.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in law, with experience in leading teams and managing projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the legal affairs program, including coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, including donors, government agencies, and community organizations. This will involve communicating effectively, building trust, and negotiating agreements that align with our organization's goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective legal strategies to advance our mission.
  • Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the legal affairs program, including managing staff, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting revenue, and making financial decisions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including donors, government agencies, and community organizations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to fundraising, governance, and finance.
