The Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our Lahore resource centre office, extending the division-based R&D department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative software solutions using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. You will also work closely with our DevOps team to implement microservices architecture and event-driven patterns. Your experience with relational databases, version control systems, and testing frameworks is highly valued.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Node.js: Experience in building server-side applications using Node.js (e.g. NestJS, express.js).
  • JavaScript/TypeScript: Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript for type safety.
  • Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of designing and implementing microservices (service decomposition and inter-service communication).
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Familiarity with event-driven patterns.
  • Asynchronous Programming: Knowledge in using Promises, async/await, and handling asynchronous operations.
  • Database Management (SQL): Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Version Control (Git): Proficient in using Git/GitLab for source code management and collaboration.
  • Testing Frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest, Cypress): Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • HTML/CSS: Knowledge in HTML5 and CSS3 for building and styling web pages.
  • Frontend: Experience with Angular.
  • Containerization: Basic knowledge of Docker.
  • Security: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices.
