Education Counsellor

The role of the Education Counsellor is to provide exceptional guidance and support to international students in finding the best institutions for their learning and career aspirations. This involves offering comprehensive information and advice on study opportunities, local education systems, culture, geographic regions, assisting with application documentation, facilitating enrolments, and promoting relevant products and services.

  • Achieve key performance indicators by promoting student essential products and services, managing leads and applications, seeking referral opportunities, participating in events, and maintaining a database.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to students, families, and education providers throughout the process. This involves planning activities to build student engagement, providing clear information about admissions and qualification options, and engaging proactively with students and providers regularly.
About this Role

This role requires experience in a sales or customer service environment, including meeting individual and team targets. A good understanding of the education sector, student placement into VET and universities, and immigration requirements and processes is also essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience as an Education Counsellor or similar role are required. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including fluency in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for success in this position.
