Presales Systems Expert

This role requires a solid technical foundation in IT hardware, including servers, storage, and operating systems.

You will collaborate closely with the sales team to design and propose advanced IT solutions, focusing on compute, storage, virtualization, and system integration to meet customer-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design: Design IT solutions covering compute and storage based on customer requirements.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Leverage experience with industry-leading brands such as IBM, Dell EMC, Huawei, VMware, and Veeam.
  3. Portal Management: Utilize OEM portals and configurators to create tailored solutions; manage deal registrations and follow-ups.
  4. Sales Alignment: Work with sales to achieve targets.
  5. Client Solutions: Provide solutions for client digitization initiatives.
  6. Deployment Support: Assist in solution deployment and implementation.
  7. Technical Certifications: Maintain technical certifications and stay updated with industry standards.
  8. Proposal Development: Prepare technical proposals aligned with client needs and OEM validation.
  9. Tech Awareness: Stay aware of competing brands and emerging technologies.
  10. PoC Opportunities: Identify and deliver Proof of Concept opportunities.
  11. Pricing Negotiation: Negotiate pricing with OEMs.
  12. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders.
  13. Customer Coordination: Coordinate with customer accounts to support and ensure satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • IT Hardware Expertise: Extensive knowledge of IT hardware, servers, storage, and operating systems.
  • Brand Familiarity: Experience with brands like Dell EMC, IBM, VMware, H3C, Sangfor, Veeam, and familiarity with OEM tools.
  • Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach.

Certifications:

At least one relevant Pre-Sales Storage or Systems certification is required. Verifiable certificates during hiring will be preferred.

Preferred knowledge of Datacenter/Cloud Infrastructure standards.
