Lead Software Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to join our team. As a lead developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to design and develop software modules for products and systems.
  • Analyzing user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.
  • Participating in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.
  • Performing code reviews and regression tests as well as triaging and fixing issues to ensure the quality of code.
  • Collaborating with others inside project teams to accomplish project objectives.
  • Writing technical documentation for Software projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
