Job Overview

Punjab Information Technology Board is seeking a Hardware + Software Engineer to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Android-based systems, including hardware integration and app-level testing.

As a key member of our QA team, you will perform quality assurance testing on Android-based hardware devices and applications.

  • Test the functionality of Android devices and applications.
  • Collaborate with developers and field teams to resolve bugs and deployment issues.
  • Document test results, issues, and improvements in structured formats.

Required skills include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of experience working on Android-based systems, and hands-on experience with Android app testing and debugging tools.

Other desired skills include understanding of communication protocols such as USB, Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, and Serial, ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in hardware-app communication, and familiarity with Git and basic command-line tools.
