Marketing Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled data professional to analyze industry trends, uncover insights from large databases, and deliver actionable findings to the team.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience working with complex data sets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to create compelling presentations that tell a story through numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of large data sets to determine advertising industry trends
  • Uncovering insights and stories from data sets and delivering findings to the team
  • Creation of engaging thought leadership presentations to be delivered by the executive team
  • Generation of data-driven content for various media outlets, including trend reports, blog posts, articles, and more
  • Making data-driven recommendations and decisions that appeal to potential clients across multiple industries
  • Management of relationships with internal teams to ensure data integrity
  • Support of other marketing initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics, or commensurate experience
  • 5-7 years of experience working with large databases with proven experience deriving actionable insights from data
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to create compelling presentations that tell a story through numbers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • General knowledge of ad sales and publishing industries preferred
