The role of a Warehouse Material Handler is crucial to the success of our organization. We are seeking an individual who can perform routine day-to-day activities for loading and unloading received, stored, and issued raw and packing materials in the warehouse under the supervision of a shift in charge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle raw and packing materials from various vendors into the plant Materials RMWH.
  • Ensure all requirements of warehousing and material storage are covered from Food Safety and AIB points of view.
  • Unload materials from pallets as per the requisition issued by production, count the material, and hand it over following material handling practices.
  • Regularly keep stocks in rotation to ensure AIB and Food Safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling of material to avoid damages and losses.
  • Optimize the use of warehousing space for the storage of all materials and stacking of materials as per standards.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to Quality and AIB standards and guidelines issued from time to time.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting physical stock counts of all materials at month-end closing or whenever required and reconciling stock status appearing in the books of accounts with physical stock count conducted.

Moreover, you will need to ensure that proper GMP and Safety procedures are followed for the movement and storage of materials in raw and packing materials RMWHs. Additionally, maintain good housekeeping and product safety to ensure compliance against AIBI, IPS, FSSC 22000, and CRP standards.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You must be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. If you have basic knowledge of EHS, QFS, and inventory management, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

Requirements:

  • Matriculation or intermediate education
  • 3 years of operation experience at a manufacturing location
  • Basic knowledge of EHS, QFS, and inventory management

Working Conditions: This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. You will be exposed to varying temperatures and humidity levels.

Safety Precautions: The employee must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow all safety protocols to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
