Carton Packaging Estimator Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Carton Packaging Estimator to join our company.

  • Job Overview:
  • This position involves preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities
  • Collaboration with sales, production, and design teams is crucial in determining job scope and manufacturing requirements
  • The successful candidate will utilize historical cost data and supplier pricing to prepare quotes
  • Maintaining and updating pricing databases and Excel-based estimate sheets is also a key responsibility
  • Supporting customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input is essential
  • Motivated individuals will monitor job costing performance to refine future estimations
  • Cost-saving alternatives in materials or production processes can be recommended when applicable
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects
  • Working knowledge of printing processes (offset printing, color matching, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
