About this Position:

As a software development professional on our team, you will lead the effort to create systems that enable AI research and development teams to deliver secure, highly scalable distributed services.

  • You will leverage technology such as Kubeflow, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Python to build inference systems, infrastructure, and training pipelines as well as distributed systems themselves.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Help define the direction for the team by collaborating with senior professionals and stakeholders to set technical vision and priorities.
  • Enable teams to build features at scale by providing a foundation of reusable software components and infrastructure, including deployment pipelines from source code to production.
  • Become one of the subject matter experts on the team by creating and maintaining documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials for junior professionals.
  • Build infrastructure that enables fast, robust automated testing and validation, including monitoring best practices and implementing systems to enforce them.
  • Improve the performance and reliability of existing systems by applying DevOps principles and tools, such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years software development experience.
  • Experience improving machine learning infrastructure with multiple stakeholders in a large organization.
  • Experience in Python or a similar programming language.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies.
  • Experience with Kubeflow pipeline development and management.
