Sterilization Specialist

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As an Operation Room Technician/CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and sanitation in the operating room environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the surgical team. Proficiency in electricity and analytical skills are also highly valued in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Disassembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
• Inventory management and performing preventive maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Assisting in preparing the operating room before surgeries

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably formal training in a related field. Certification as a Central Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) is also highly desirable.
